Vehicle finance products EXPLAINED

Each option has different benefits around monthly payments, ownership, and flexibility. We will guide you to select the most suitable route based on your vehicle choice, deposit, and objectives.

Personal Contract Purchase (PCP)

Typically offers lower monthly payments with an optional final payment (or return/part-exchange at the end). Suitable if you want flexibility and the ability to change vehicles regularly.

Hire Purchase

Fixed monthly payments over an agreed term with a clear path to ownership. Ideal if you prefer straightforward finance and plan to keep the vehicle long term.

Lease Purchase

Lower monthly payments with a final balloon payment at the end of the agreement. A strong option if you can plan ahead for the final balance and want to keep the vehicle.

Refinance

PCP Balloon Refinance.

PCP is a very common way of purchasing a new or nearly new car. You pay your monthly payments, and at the end of the term you can pay a final lump sum balloon payment to keep the car. But what if you don’t have the cash to pay the final payment and you want to keep the car?

We offer competitive finance options for PCP balloon finance so you can keep hold of your car. Usually, the monthly payments on a refinance will be lower than you were paying before.

We can offer:

  1. Balloon refinance with a Hire Purchase. The new finance facility will pay off your PCP balloon payment and you’ll pay this back with monthly rentals on a term between 24 and 60 months, tailored to suit your budget.
  2. Balloon refinance with a Lease Purchase agreement. We can refinance your PCP balloon with another agreement with a lower balloon at the end, to keep your monthly payments to a minimum.

Refinancing your car early.

You don’t have to wait until the end of your PCP or Hire Purchase agreement before arranging a refinance. You may be able to reduce your monthly payments by refinancing early.

Please call us to discuss your requirements and we’ll give you a competitive quote for your consideration.

Equity release

This is a popular option for release of capital. For individuals who already own a prestige or classic car outright, we can offer flexible hire purchase agreements to release funds to you against the car.

Finance options FAQs

Clear answers to common questions about prestige car finance and the application process.

What is the difference between PCP and Hire Purchase?

PCP is designed around flexibility, often with a lower monthly payment and options at the end of the term. Hire Purchase is a more straightforward route to ownership with fixed payments and no balloon (other than a small option-to-purchase fee, where applicable).

Can I apply if I am self-employed or have complex/irregular income?

Yes. We regularly support self-employed applicants, contractors, and customers with irregular or multiple income streams. We will advise what evidence is required in order to present your case to the chosen lender.

Do you finance used and high-value vehicles?

Yes. We can arrange finance for a wide range of prestige and high-end vehicles regardless of age, subject to lender criteria and affordability.

How much deposit do I need?

Deposit requirements vary by lender, vehicle, and profile. If you have a part-exchange, it can often be used as deposit. We will outline options after reviewing your enquiry.

Will an enquiry affect my credit score?

We will discuss options before any formal application. Once you have received and chosen to proceed with a quotation, a credit application will then be submitted to the lender.

How quickly can I get a decision?

In many cases, we can provide an initial indication quickly once we have your key details, funding can then be secured as quickly as 48 hours. More complex cases may take longer depending on documentation and lender review.
